Title
Speech-Language Pathologist - Speech Therapy

Schedule
Days 8 hours M-F, 8 hr days - Times are flexible as long as consistent and communicated with DOR.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: None

Requirements
- 1 year of SLP experience - Required
- LTC or Rehab experience - Required
- New Grads okay with Level II experience - Required
- TX State License - Required
- CCC certified SLP - Required
- 3 years experience holding active CCS - Preferred
- One reference at the time of submission

Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate plans of care.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting in clinical records as required.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding speech disorders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
- Document required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per company policy.

Compliance / Notes
- Adhere to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.
- Participation in required meetings and trainings as necessary.
- Ability to obtain necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed.
