RN Emergency Room

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced ER environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required. Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans in the Emergency Room setting.
• Administer medications and provide skilled nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Manage emergency situations and provide critical interventions as needed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with hospital policies.
• Participate in case management and discharge planning when appropriate.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Room or acute care settings.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with critical care equipment such as ventilators, IV pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• Prior experience in trauma or ER nursing.

Special Considerations:

• Position requires working 12-hour night shifts in an Emergency Room environment.
• Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies and work collaboratively under pressure.
• Compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to patient care and safety.

Scheduling:

• 12-hour night shifts, schedule determined by hospital staffing needs.
• Shift assignments may require flexibility including weekends and holidays.
