Home Based Visitor

Valeo Resources has partnered with a non profit community outreach organization that is constantly expanding and obtaining funding! We are currently seeking candidates Chicago, IL! In this role, you will be delivering home-based services to families with children aged birth to three years old.
Position : Home Based Visitor

Location : 3 job site locations

Schedule : M-F, day shifts (Full time - W2) hours of operation are 8am-6pm but you can work 8-5 or 9-6

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular 90-minute home visits to families with young children.
• Implement child development curriculum within homes and during group socialization activities.
• Facilitate group socialization experiences and other family group activities.
• Provide educational and support services to families.
• Conduct developmental screenings and ongoing assessments of children's progress.
• Caseload is 12

Requirements:

• Minimum of a home-based CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate's or bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years' experience working with children and families in a human service setting..
• Ability to work with families and children from diverse cultures and low-income backgrounds.
• Willingness to work in the homes of families residing in high-risk communities.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance
