A little about the job....

• RN performs functions of assessing; planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients on unit during shift. 
• RN is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment. 
• RN is responsible for promotion of collaboration with all members of health care team. 
• RN Care Team Leader develops work plan and provides clear directions and expectations for care partner.

Qualifications for the job...

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of Alabama.
• Work requires one to three months orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with department and unit policies, procedures and clinical guidelines. 
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with patient and families, to elicit cooperation and allay apprehensions. 
• Must possess analytical ability to synthesize knowledge of nursing theory and practice, assessment and planning activities, technical expertise and delegation skills to provide effective nursing care for assigned patients.
