Location & Work Environment This is a hybrid position based in Southern California . Candidates must live within commuting distance of our Newport Beach, CA headquarters. Our hybrid schedule includes three days per week in the office and two days working remotely . About the Role We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Affiliate Partnerships Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position designed for someone looking to build a career in affiliate marketing, creator commerce, digital media, or strategic partnerships. You'll work closely with Alta's Affiliate Partnerships Managers, supporting the day-to-day execution and growth of affiliate programs for a portfolio of leading consumer brands. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the affiliate ecosystem, including publisher and creator research, partner recruitment, outreach, onboarding, campaign execution, reporting, and relationship management. Our Affiliate Partnerships Managers own the strategy and client relationships for their accounts. As a Coordinator, you'll work alongside them to help execute that strategy—identifying new opportunities, building the partner pipeline, and helping ensure programs operate smoothly. Your Impact Research & Recruit Commerce Partners Research and identify publishers, creators, editorial media outlets, shopping platforms, and other potential affiliate partners for client programs. Build targeted prospect lists based on client goals, audiences, product categories, and growth opportunities. Conduct regular partner outreach and follow-up to recruit new affiliates into client programs. Help identify emerging publishers, creators, platforms, and commerce opportunities that could drive incremental growth. Maintain organized partner pipelines and track outreach, responses, and next steps. Support Affiliate Program Management Support Affiliate Partnerships Managers in the day-to-day management of client affiliate programs. Work within leading affiliate platforms including Impact, Rakuten, CJ, Partnerize, Awin, and others. Assist with affiliate applications, approvals, onboarding, links, commission structures, and partner communications. Support promotional campaigns, commission increases, bonus opportunities, flat-fee placements, and other affiliate initiatives. Help maintain accurate program information, partner records, promotional calendars, and campaign details. Monitor programs for compliance issues including trademark bidding, unauthorized coupon activity, and other violations. Build Partner Relationships Communicate regularly with publishers, creators, and other affiliate partners regarding client programs and opportunities. Support the Affiliate Partnerships Managers in developing and maintaining relationships with priority partners. Coordinate product information, promotional details, creative assets, tracking links, and other materials partners need to successfully promote our clients. Help ensure partners receive timely responses and a high level of support from the Alta team. Support Performance & Reporting Monitor affiliate program performance and help identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization. Assist with recurring client reporting and preparation for client meetings. Track partner recruitment, activation, placements, and other program KPIs. Work with Affiliate Partnerships Managers to identify opportunities to increase partner activity and program revenue. Execute with Excellence Manage assigned tasks and deadlines across multiple client programs. Maintain organized records, partner lists, campaign trackers, and internal documentation. Collaborate closely with Affiliate Partnerships Managers and other members of the Alta team. Take ownership of assigned projects and communicate proactively when questions or challenges arise. Stay current on affiliate marketing, creator commerce, social commerce, marketplaces, and emerging industry trends. What You Bring Bachelor's degree required. 0-1 year of professional experience. Previous experience in affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, digital marketing, PR, e-commerce, media, or a related field is a plus but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to research effectively and identify relevant companies, publishers, creators, and contacts. Comfortable communicating professionally via email and other digital channels. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset and comfort working with performance data and spreadsheets. Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Self-motivated, curious, proactive, and eager to learn. Collaborative mindset and willingness to support teammates wherever needed. Must be located within commuting distance of Newport Beach, California and able to work in‑office three days per week. Willingness to travel occasionally for team events, client meetings, or industry conferences. Bonus Qualifications Internship or entry-level experience in affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, PR, digital marketing, e-commerce, or media. Familiarity with affiliate platforms such as Impact, Rakuten, CJ, Partnerize, or Awin. Experience researching or communicating with publishers, creators, or influencers. Familiarity with TikTok Shop, creator commerce, or social commerce. Experience with Excel or Google Sheets and basic performance reporting. An existing interest in digital media, consumer brands, creators, e-commerce, or the broader affiliate industry.
