Diesel Fleet Mechanic job at H&K Equipment, Inc. Coraopolis, PA. Headquartered just outside the steel city of Pittsburgh, we are known as the team that can transport any load: heavy equipment, oil and gas rigging, intermodal and dirt moving machines, cranes, storage tanks, and everything you can think of in between. We are seeking a full-time, entry-level dayshift DieselFleet Mechanic for our trucks and trailers. RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers. Perform minor repairs on trucks and trailers. Diagnose and repair wiring for lights. Fix air leaks in braking systems. Replace brake components including drums. Change and rotate tires as needed. Move trailers around the lot safely and efficiently. Shuttle vehicles to and from dealerships or service locations. Wash and detail trucks and trailers. Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to lift up to 50 poundsand perform physical labor. Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus). Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions (PA summers and winters). Previous experience in a shop or with vehicle maintenance
