Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CVICU Night Travel RN to provide specialized critical care for cardiac and general ICU patients. This role requires adaptability to handle diverse patient needs and work effectively in a low-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to CVICU patients, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
Float between CVICU and general ICU based on census and acuity levels.
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
Comply with all travel and facility-specific policies, including drug screening requirements.
Maintain all licensing, certifications, and compliance documentation current and available.

Qualifications:

Possess a valid RN license and relevant state certification.
Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent ICU experience, including CVICU.
Be competent in caring for both CVICU and general ICU patients.
Be willing to work 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation.
Have current BLS, ACLS certification; NIHSS preferred.
Able to meet Tier 2 travel compliance requirements.
