Warehouse Associate

Prepares products for work orders and/or shipments, determines shipping mode, estimates shipment value, determines appropriate insurance amount, and contacts carriers for pick up. Returns merchandise to stock and credits work order items not needed by production. May contact carriers to arrange shipments. Verifies, completes, and keeps necessary records on incoming and/or outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and/or outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Returns merchandise to stock and credits work order items not needed by production. Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment. Required to perform warehouse duties. Required to wear personal protective equipment while working and within the boundaries of production. Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High School graduate or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Shipping/Receiving
• Basic computer skills required
• Helpful to have some warehouse and inventory control experience
