Medical Director For Urgent Care Clinic
Vivo HealthStaff is looking for a Medical Director for an Urgent Care clinic in one of the fastest-growing physician organizations in Southern California. The Medical Director will provide oversight for Urgent Care and Primary Care medical operations. In collaboration with clinical teams, the Medical Director will ensure the quality of care, timeliness of care, and optimization of resources.
Job Details
- Full-time permanent opportunity
- Monday - Friday, no weekend schedules
- The position offers 60% Administrative and 40% Clinical responsibilities
- Supervises and mentors a collaborative team of physicians and mid-level providers

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Board eligible or board certification
- Active and unrestricted California medical license, or able to obtain a California license
- Experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care, or Emergency Department
- Prior experience in managed care setting
- Knowledge of Quality Outcomes, Utilization Management, Medical Management, Regulatory Compliance
- Prior experience leading clinical staff in a Clinic or Urgent Care setting preferred
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project Skills desirable
