The Sr. Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing complex medium‑voltage site production of on‑site activities, providing daily progress reports and quality reports, updating the Construction Coordinator on any deviation from drawings, and working to resolve any site issues. The role is responsible for all safety and quality aspects of the site construction. The ideal candidate for the role will be an innovative, collaborative, and progressive leader with exceptional business acumen and the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions in a highly complex, rapidly evolving environment. You build trust and credibility, inspire ERockers across the business, and are action‑oriented, resourceful, and approachable while also having the ability to influence and lead significant change. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with operations, project team, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver safe and quality work within project timelines. Review and understand provided drawings and ensure the site is built to drawing/code/project requirements. Complete daily construction reports, Safety JSA’s, and quality reports with documented information. Advise supervisor or engineering team of any deviations from drawings or site issues to ensure a plan forward before action is taken. Manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills and follow through on assigned tasks. Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with proficiency in relevant software tools. Resolve on‑site issues, maintain a clean job site, and support operations teams. Provide schedule updates and review project sequences for proper execution. Demonstrate document control and time‑management skills. Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal network. Lead meetings with outside vendors, contractors, utilities, and clients. Find solutions and overcome problems that may impact the project. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in Construction Management. 10+ years of experience in a relevant role. 10+ years of technical field experience, specifically with medium‑voltage construction projects & technology. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project‑management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget. The ability to understand business needs to drive buy‑in among company leaders, enable transformation, and advance strategic priorities while building rapport and fostering a collaborative working environment. 90% field travel required. Preferred: Demonstrate thought leadership in learning, challenging the status quo, and achieving exceptional results. Possess excellent communication skills and an ability to influence a variety of audiences. Build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners.
