The Radiology Department is on the lookout for a Chief of Interventional Radiology to join our team at Lenox Hill Hospital and Goldman Pavilion located in New York City . This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a dynamic academic interventional radiology section and outpatient center within one of the largest healthcare systems in the country.

The selected candidate will become part of a developing Interventional Radiology section at Lenox Hill Hospital and the Goldman Pavilion on the Upper East Side. The new outpatient facility at Goldman Pavilion is set to open in January 2027 and will include two advanced interventional suites dedicated to oncologic procedures, along with outpatient consultation areas. This will complement the existing four suites at Lenox Hill Hospital. The candidate will be part of a comprehensive division that includes 30 interventional radiologists and will engage in full-time interventional radiology practice. Our team performs a wide array of IR procedures such as angiography, arterial and venous interventions, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, TIPS, venous access, GU interventions, GI interventions, cholangioscopy, biliary procedures, and vertebroplasty using state-of-the-art technology.

Lenox Hill Hospital serves as a tertiary care specialty facility situated on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The Goldman Pavilion is a 15-story, 200,000 square foot multi-specialty medical complex scheduled to open in 2027, featuring diagnostic and interventional radiology alongside various medical specialties, all supported by the innovative initiatives of our Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will contribute their expertise to the radiology team at Lenox Hill Hospital, providing specialized interventional radiology services and actively participating in our 17-resident training program.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent foreign degree

• Preferred current academic rank of Associate or Full Professor

• Prior leadership experience in Radiology and/or Interventional Radiology

• Completion of an IR/DR residency or an IR Fellowship at an ACGME-accredited institution

• Current board certification in IR/DR

• Possession or ability to obtain an unrestricted New York State Medical License
