Environmental Systems Analyst Advisor

In this job, you’ll lead environmental process implementation and continuous improvement, partnering across the business to keep work compliant, on‑time, and on‑budget. Coordinate work management system and intake work processes, engage internal customers, and use performance data to deliver insights, training, and issue resolution at scale. Responsibilities Recommend and implement appropriate actions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, serving as a liaison with external and governmental agencies or internal business partners. Develop, manage, implement and improve compliance/business processes, standards, procedures, training, and operational plans that advance business strategies with an impact on work group results. Evaluate and assess environmental risk and collaborate in developing and implementing programs for risk reduction and mitigation. Conduct comprehensive environmental inspections and self‑assessments, maintaining accurate compliance records. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners and external agencies to facilitate effective communications and collaboration. Demonstrate project management skills to oversee and coordinate various environmental initiatives and ensure timely completion. Maintain detailed records and prepare related reports and studies for submission to regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance. A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Seven or more years of experience in environmental and/or related compliance field and/or permitting. Possess a valid Class C Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related environmental or management discipline. Experience as a subject matter expert in effectively managing business processes and risks and identifying new and existing opportunities to minimize operational impacts. Experience interfacing with technical and non‑technical audiences (peers, clients, contractors/consultants) and maintaining a customer‑focused approach. Experience working with geo‑spatial mapping systems or equivalent applications. Experience analyzing environmental data and developing dashboards and reports. Experience developing and performing QA/QC of work products and supporting governance to reduce errors and sustain compliance. Experience developing system solutions aligned to business processes, identifying gaps/resolutions, and ensuring system and data quality requirements are met. Experience developing guidance documents, templates, job aids, and other process documentation for end‑user training. Additional Information This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
