Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care at a facility located in Providence, Rhode Island. This position requires candidates to have experience in Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) environments as well as emergency room settings. The role involves providing high-quality patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with American Nurses Association (ANA) standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Providence, RI
• Shift: Evening shifts, 11:00 AM 11:00 PM, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Rhode Island Registered Nurse (RN) license, LDR (Labor, Delivery & Recovery) experience, EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level experience (Levels 1, 2, and 3), teaching hospital experience, experience with Meditech EMR, strong Labor & Delivery background, flexibility to support emergency care within a womens health setting, and strong labor and delivery background.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to assist with patient lifting, transfers, and transport via wheelchair or stretcher; ability to work within the Women's Emergency Room setting; must demonstrate flexibility and support emergency care in womens health. The position anticipates a start date of June 22, 2026, with an end date of September 19, 2026. Vaccinations required include COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations.
