Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)


Location: Bozeman, Montana
Contract: 8 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Variable Day Shifts + Call
⏱️ Hours: 36 Hours/Week

We’re seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a short-term travel assignment in a Level III Trauma setting. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working varied shifts, taking call, and providing safe, high-quality perioperative care.


✅ Requirements
Active Montana RN License
Minimum 3 years of RN/Operating Room nursing experience
18 months of RN experience required
Current AHA BLS
Current AHA ACLS
Nursing degree from an accredited program
CNOR preferred
1 year circulating experience preferred
1 year scrub experience preferred
EPIC experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments
Develop and implement individualized plans of care
Provide safe perioperative nursing care
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the healthcare team
Promote patient safety and infection prevention
Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes
Maintain professional standards and accurate documentation
Participate in ongoing clinical education and stroke competency requirements
Assignment Highlights
36 hours per week
Variable day-shift coverage with flexibility across shifts
Call requirement with pager availability
Level III Trauma environment
Holiday coverage required
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 8-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
Traveler must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to qualify
