Entry Level Adult Caregiver

Job Summary We are seeking an Entry Level Adult Caregiver to join a supportive healthcare services environment in San Mateo, CA. This part‑time Direct Service Professional Intern opportunity is designed for individuals who are interested in building a meaningful career supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As an Entry Level Adult Caregiver, you will receive interactive training and hands‑on guidance while learning how to provide person‑centered support that helps individuals live more independently, build relationships, participate in their communities, and feel empowered in everyday life. Key Responsibilities Provide entry-level support under the guidance of a qualified Direct Service Professional for up to three months. Assist individuals with community living skills, communication, personal empowerment, relationship building, and daily routines. Support person-centered services that promote independence, inclusion, health, wellness, and meaningful participation in the community. Help individuals make informed choices related to well‑being, relationships, employment, finances, and everyday activities. Participate in training, documentation, service facilitation, advocacy, and ongoing professional development. Maintain respectful, ethical, and supportive interactions while protecting privacy and promoting physical and emotional well‑being. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $18.60 per hour (salary range $18.60 to $23.00 per hour). Weekly pay. Incentives offered. Employment retention payments at six and twelve months. Free interactive training. Part-time schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; a variety of schedules available).
