Our client, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting antisemitism is seeking a Gift Processing Coordinator for a temp position.

• The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm.

• The position is fully onsite.

• The pay rate is $28.00 per hour.

Job Summary

\n

The Coordinator, Gift Processing plays a vital role in processing and reviewing gifts, ensuring high accuracy in data entry, coding, and compliance with organizational procedures. This position is responsible for managing special requirements when appropriate and assisting with donor inquiries. The Coordinator supports regular reconciliation processes and collaborates with the Revenue and Gift Processing team to standardize and streamline gift reporting and processing workflows. This role contributes to enhancing the overall efficiency of gift processing through process improvements and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and review gifts, ensuring timely and accurate entry of gift data.
\n
• Maintain high accuracy in data entry and coding, aligning with organizational procedures.
\n
• Manage special requirements for gifts, including tribute and memorial gifts, as needed.
\n
• Assist with basic donor inquiries related to gifts and provide timely responses.
\n
• Support reconciliation processes and collaborate with the Revenue and Gift Processing team.
\n
• Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient processing procedures.
\n
• Work with the Data Systems and Knowledge team to optimize gift reporting and processing workflows.
\n
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
\n

Coordinator, Gifts Processing (Mid-Level)

\n

\n
• Processes gifts ranging from $10K to $25K, ensuring accuracy for higher-value donations.
\n
• Manages special handling for tribute and memorial gifts specific to mid-level donors.
\n
• Collaborates with the Major/Principal Gifts Specialist on restricted gifts.
\n
• Assists in managing pledge reminders and related processes for mid-level donations.
\n

\n

Coordinator, Gift Processing (Annual Fund)

\n

\n
• Processes lower-tier gifts from $0 to $10K, ensuring timely entry of data for smaller donations.
\n
• Assists with basic donor inquiries related to annual fund gifts.
\n
• Manages special handling for tribute and memorial gifts specific to mid-level donors.
\n
• Collaborates with the Direct Mail team during annual fund campaigns for efficient processing.
\n

Experience

• Previous experience in gift processing or related administrative support roles, preferably within a nonprofit organization.

• Familiarity with special handling procedures and reconciliation processes.

• Experience in maintaining accurate records and documentation in a database or similar system.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
