Community Associate – Community As a Community Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for the Community, acting as the "face" of WeWork and reporting to the building's Community Lead and Community Manager. Responsibilities Front Desk Management Cover the front desk during building operating hours as an on‑site point of contact. Greet members and guests warmly and ensure compliance with the guest sign‑in policy. Identify members and guests, building relationships to foster community. Anticipate member needs using available member information to personalize the experience. Maintain up‑to‑date building specific forms (pet, filming, bike room, etc.). Keep the front desk clean and organized. Notify members of food deliveries and courier arrivals. Answer member and guest questions regarding building policies, procedures, and community etiquette. Events and Membership Engagement Provide feedback on programming and evaluate events based on attendance, satisfaction, and impact. Celebrate member successes and milestones with gifts and notes. Create and post event posters and promotional materials. Ensure building‑specific operational requirements are met for each event. Input member notes into the community system. Identify and facilitate member connections. Recommend local restaurants, catering, and venue options. Engage members actively on the WeWork member network. Communicate building updates, policies, and issues to members. Manage music levels and event activations as appropriate. Write and send broadcasts about building updates. Building Operations and Management Receive, process, sort, and organize all mail. Issue mailing posts via the regional system upon member request. Maintain a clean and organized mailroom. Return unidentified mail after 30 days and handle former member mail. Verify courier parcels for correct pickup details. Investigate, report, and resolve lost packages. Explain mailroom policies to members. Track, audit, and organize keys and keycards. Manage keycard inventory and reorder as needed. Collect keys and keycards on move‑outs. Review and explain the use of emergency equipment. Support the automated coffee machine for guests and members. Qualifications College graduate preferred, but not required. Minimum 1 year of hospitality experience. Customer service and/or sales experience a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking skills. Demonstrated integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self‑awareness, work ethic, and compassion. Passion for entrepreneurial communities. Understanding of WeWork's mission and values. Basic computer proficiency. Compensation & Benefits Base Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 hourly Incentive Compensation: Employees may be eligible for an incentive plan specific to their role. Details will be provided after employment commencement.
