About the Position

Must have decisive judgment. Ability to work with minimal supervision is essential. Must be able to operate in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Description: This position is for a 225-bed specialty care hospital with various clinical services, including heart and vascular, cancer treatment, brain and spine care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitors, IV pumps, and electronic health record systems. You will work with an adult and geriatric patient population. Patient ratios in the unit are typically 5:1 to 6:1. Candidates should have experience in a medical/surgical environment. The dress code requires scrubs in specified colors. Fingernails should be clean and not excessively long. Tattoos that may be offensive must be covered. Excessive jewelry is not permitted.
