Position Requirements:

Ability to work in a team environment or independently to perform duties with little supervision.

Ability to communicate with team members on all shifts and possess good mathematical and organizational skills.

Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety requirements.

Good communication skills.

Physical Demands:

Some of the physical demands of this position include sitting for prolonged periods of time, walking up and down staircases, occasional lifting, and occasional stooping and bending. Ability to lift 40 pounds and being able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time in a manufacturing environment.

Equipment / Tools Used:

Some of the equipment and tools used are computer, telephone, fax machine, copier/printer, and a projector. Also include basic departmental hand tools and personal protective equipment as well as scanning.

Knowledge:

General knowledge of mechanical operations

Basic understanding of weld terminology

Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Work Experience:

6-12 months previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Additional Skills or Abilities Would Be Helpful For The Job:

Basic mechanical aptitude

Safe work practices

Areas of Training Required:

New Hire Orientation, OSHA Required Training, Product and Process Overview, Understanding the Charter, Lean Manufacturing Overview, 5S & Visual Management, Business Management System, MEVS Label Standards, Tip Change Procedure, Robot Fundamentals, and Basic Workstation Panel Views. Scanner Training.

Team Member's Job Progress Be Monitored For Competency By:

Performance Assessment conducted by Supervisor and/or Department Manager.
