About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Tech Profession: Sterile Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Evenings Hours per Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not required Certifications: BLS (AHA), CBSPD, Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) via HSPA Must-Have: 2 years of experience in decontamination, sterilization, and assembly Description: Hiring process involves reviewing candidate profiles and submitting qualified candidates directly to the manager for interviews. Candidates must submit a driver's license as part of the application process. Candidates should be available for orientation. First week of orientation will include 1-2 preceptor shifts. Shifts are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with weekend shifts available from Friday to Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. No floating outside of the unit is permitted, except in extreme circumstances. Scrubs will be provided for uniforms. Common tasks include using Steris Sterilization, Vpro, and Medivator for sterilization processes. Candidates should have experience in handling common equipment for disinfection and sterilization. No call requirements are applicable, including weekends and holidays.
