Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Maysville, KY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in left/right heart catheterization, FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures.

Job Details

• Located in a 100-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited hospital in Maysville, KY,
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit serving an adult patient population,
• Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain,
• Day shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM,
• 13-week contract,
• On-call required every 3rd weekday and every 3rd weekend,
• Weekend hours are per call,
• No floating required,
• MacLab is the EHR used in this unit (experience preferred),

Job Requirements

• Active RN license - KY state or compact license required,
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued cards required),
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience,
• Proficiency in left/right heart catheterization (L/R HC), FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures,
• Social Security number required for consideration,
• Date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month,
• Navy or royal blue scrubs required; open-toed footwear is not permitted,
• MacLab EHR experience is preferred,
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months,
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment,
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
