Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room setting
• Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures
• Perform scrub and/or circulating roles as required during CVOR cases
• Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical team members to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Virginia or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures and OR protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both scrub and circulating roles within a cardiovascular OR
• ACLS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR setting
