Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for an outpatient mammography position in Olympia, WA.

Details

Outpatient mammography setting at a 107-bed facility in Olympia, WA
1:1 patient ratio with 20-minute appointment slots
Screening and diagnostic mammography procedures performed
Uses a GE Mammography System, Change Healthcare PACS (McKesson), and Epic EMR
4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Thursdays are primarily scheduled as the day off, though this may change
No weekend rotation, no on-call, and no holiday coverage required
No floating required

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience
ARRT (Mammography) certification required
WA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography
Bone densitometry experience preferred but not required
COVID vaccination required

Additional Information

Department is supported by a Receptionist/Registration Specialist
A manager interview is required as part of the hiring process
Gray scrubs required
Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved, with the possibility of extending the contract to accommodate
One reference is sufficient for initial consideration; a second reference from a supervisor or above will be required prior to start
