OPS Counselor/Psychologist

Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Counselor or Psychologist with the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) department - Boca Raton, FL This position plays a vital role in providing individual, relational, and/or group counseling to FAU students, regarding a wide range of personal concerns and clinical diagnoses. Summary of Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based individual, relationship, and group counseling to a diverse student population. Conduct intake evaluations, clinical assessments, and risk assessments to determine appropriate treatment recommendations. Develop treatment plans and provide short-term psychotherapy consistent with the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) service model. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards. Adhere to all statutory and ethical requirements governing confidentiality and professional practice within the scope of the applicable licensure. Comply with FAU Personnel Policies and the CAPS Policies and Procedures Manual. Participate in case consultation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and other departmental activities as assigned. Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour. Other Personnel Services (OPS) College or Department: Division of Student Affairs Location: Boca Raton Work Days and Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
