The Opportunity

The Field Operations Trainer turns company standards into consistent execution at the club level. This position combines hands-on training, leadership coaching, operational review, and follow-up accountability. You will work directly with club managers and their teams to strengthen execution, improve the member experience, and build capable leaders across our markets.

This is not a desk job. The successful candidate will spend approximately 75% of the workweek traveling to clubs, including weekly overnight stays.

What You Will Do

· Lead onboarding and operational training for General Managers and Assistant General Managers, and support the development of other field leaders as assigned.

· Coach club managers and assistant managers during every visit, translating observed performance gaps into clear expectations and practical action plans.

· Conduct operational reviews covering facility condition, cleanliness, safety, staffing, merchandising, access controls, signage, amenities, and overall brand standards.

· Train and reinforce an outstanding member and sales experience, including club tours, referrals, professional member interactions, and effective follow-up.

· Use performance reports and club data to identify trends, evaluate billing health and member feedback, and coach leaders to manage their businesses with greater discipline.

· Strengthen team proficiency with company systems, learning platforms, the Crunch app, Group Exercise scheduling and reservations, and other operational tools.

· Support local marketing plans, community partnerships, corporate promotions, online reputation management, and professional responses to member feedback.

· Complete visit documentation within 24 hours, track commitments and follow-up results, and promptly escalate high-priority performance or compliance concerns.

What You Bring

· Prior experience in fitness-club operations or retail operations is required.

· Training, facilitation, onboarding, or leadership-development experience is preferred.

· A demonstrated ability to coach managers, deliver candid feedback, establish accountability, and influence performance without relying solely on direct authority.

· Strong communication, organization, time-management, and follow-through skills.

· Comfort learning business systems, interpreting operational data, and teaching others to use both effectively.

· A valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and the ability to travel approximately 75% of the workweek with weekly overnight stays.

· Residence within or near the New York metropolitan area, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, or the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

· Availability to work Monday through Friday and occasional weekends based on business needs.

Compensation, Travel Support, and Benefits

· $65,000-$75,000 in annualized base compensation, plus overtime as applicable for this nonexempt position.

· Mileage reimbursement for approved use of a personal vehicle, plus company-paid airfare and hotel accommodations when required.

· Meal allowance for approved business travel.
