Nurse Practitioner

Location: Longview, Washington, United States Job Type: Full Time Remote: Yes Start: Immediate Overview We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join Cowlitz Family Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides primary care and preventive services to underserved populations. Responsibilities Deliver primary care medical services, including diagnosing medical conditions, prescribing medications, and monitoring medication side effects. Provide preventive health treatments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team consisting of medical assistants, receptionists, care coordination staff, behavioral health specialists, and outreach personnel. Maintain comprehensive patient care within a team-based environment. Engage patients in improving and maintaining their health. Qualifications Active licensure to practice in the State of Washington, without restriction, probation, or limiting condition. Board certified or board eligible in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Maternity/Pediatrics. Valid, unrestricted license to prescribe drugs, medications, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances. At least two years of experience providing primary care in an outpatient setting. Knowledge of evidence-based primary clinical care standards. Experience working with underserved and transient populations. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
