Job Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week Pediatric Urgent Care assignment working 12-hour day shifts starting at 8:45 AM and ending once all patients have been discharged, typically around 9:00 PM. This role provides care in a fast-paced pediatric urgent care environment serving walk-in patients and scheduled same-day visits. The RN will perform triage, patient assessments, medication administration, minor procedures, and patient/family education while collaborating closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams. Candidates must be comfortable floating between pediatric urgent care clinic locations as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of pediatric-only urgent care or pediatric emergency department experience required

Active Wisconsin RN License or Compact RN License required

BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) required

Epic charting experience required

Associate Degree in Nursing required

Ability to float between clinic locations as needed

Weekend rotation required every 2-3 weekends depending on staffing needs

Flu vaccine required during flu season - no exemptions allowed
