In this important role, you'll be responsible for attracting qualified driver candidates, guiding them through the onboarding process, and developing strong relationships that encourage long-term success and retention.

What You'll Do:Driver Recruitment

• Source and recruit qualified driver candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and community outreach
• Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community functions to promote driving opportunities
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective drivers
• Screen applicants and guide candidates through the hiring process
• Promote zTrip as an employer of choice within the local market

Onboarding & Driver Support

• Conduct new driver orientations and onboarding sessions
• Assist candidates with paperwork, licensing requirements, and onboarding documentation
• Ensure drivers are prepared for a successful start with the company
• Serve as a primary point of contact for new driver questions and support
• Help drivers understand company policies, procedures, and expectations

Driver Retention & Engagement

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with active drivers
• Conduct regular follow-ups with new and existing drivers
• Address driver concerns and connect them with available resources
• Support initiatives designed to improve driver satisfaction and retention
• Foster a positive, professional, and supportive driver culture
• Work closely with operations teams to enhance the overall driver experience

Reporting & Collaboration

• Maintain accurate recruiting, hiring, and retention records
• Track recruiting activity, onboarding progress, and retention metrics
• Provide regular reports and updates to leadership
• Partner with operations and management teams to support staffing goals and driver success
• Recommend improvements to recruiting and retention strategies

Qualifications of a Driver Recruitment & Retention Specialist:

• Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, customer service, sales, human resources, staffing, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent relationship-building abilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented
• Professional, positive, and team-focused attitude
