**ASSISTANT MANAGER (ADMIN) NEWARK/HEATH, OH**

**Pay: $20.00/hour**

Mancan Staffing is seeking an organized and professional Assistant Manager (Admin) to support the daily operations of a residential property community. This position assists with leasing, resident relations, rent collection, compliance, maintenance coordination, and administrative responsibilities.

The Assistant Manager works closely with the Property Manager and may act on their behalf when needed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Assist with leasing apartments, processing applications, and conducting background checks
Support resident move-ins, lease renewals, recertifications, and compliance requirements
Maintain waiting lists, resident records, rent rolls, and delinquency reports
Collect rent payments, prepare deposits, and assist with financial reporting
Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor property conditions
Respond to resident concerns and assist with resolving complaints
Assist with property inspections, inventories, and reporting
Maintain accurate and confidential resident and property records
Work professionally with residents, contractors, housing agencies, and the public
Assist with daily administrative and property management operations

**Qualifications:**

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred
Experience in property management, real estate, administration, or customer service preferred
Knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and use standard office equipment

**Work Environment:**

Office setting with some property inspections
MondayFriday schedule with minimal travel
