Job Summary and Responsibilities - The IS Support Specialist will manage, install, support and maintain the following technologies and systems:

• Windows server operating systems 
• Active Directory/Group Policy
• Server software including but not limited to internal Intranet IIS, patch management, and endpoint protection
• Network devices including Cisco routers and switches
• Email and Web secure gateways
• M365 cloud tenant environment: Entra ID (IAM), Exchange Online, Teams, Azure Server, etc.
• Core processor applications and connectivity
• Windows client operating systems
• Workstation software to include but not limited to MS Office, IM/Presence, and various vendor applications 
• Peripheral devices
• Mobile device and mobile device management software
• Cisco desk phones and soft phones
• Cloud-based phone systems
• Local and network printers
• NTFS Permissions in local and domain contexts 
• On prem and off prem backup solutions
• Provide support escalation to the IS Help Desk in maintaining optimal performance of workstations and software

Requirements include compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Eligibility

Core Competencies - Provide second level technical support to all Evergreen employees. The IS Support Specialist will be required to sort, prioritize, remediate and/or escalate all information technology related problems as necessary. Notification of problems will come through email, phone, SMS, instant messaging and verbal communication. It is necessary to manage a wide range of issues with varying priorities and urgencies. It is necessary to properly re-prioritize support cases as more urgent issues arise. Effective documentation 

and/or expression of concern during escalation is required. Well established understanding of service relationships, fine attention to detail, consistent task documentation, superior troubleshooting logic.

Education/Experience

Knowledge and skills equivalent to a two-year degree. Experience with workstation hardware and software, server hardware and software, network devices and superior troubleshooting ability desired. Certifications and Networking experience a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills. This position requires a high level of trust, confidentiality and excellent decision-making skills.

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods. 

• Frequently operates a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other information technology equipment.
• Must be able to position oneself to access computers, servers, communication equipment, cabling, and other devices located under desks, in equipment rooms, or in confined spaces.
• Must be able to transport, move, and position computers, monitors, printers, networking equipment, and related technology equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• May occasionally use ladders or step stools to access equipment, wiring, or telecommunications infrastructure.
• Requires travel between bank locations to install, maintain, or support information technology systems and equipment.
• The work primarily performed in this position is done within an indoor, climate-controlled environment.
