Assistant Cook

Sisterita Breakfast and lunch restaurant San Francisco. We are looking for a reliable, energetic Line Cook to join our busy breakfast and lunch kitchen in San Francisco California.

Responsibilities:
Station prep: set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station with all necessary supplies prior to service.

Food Preparation : read tickets and prepare breakfast and lunch items to recipe presentation standards.

Speed & Consistency : Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and quality, coming out in a timely manner alongside with the rest of the team.

Safety & Sanitation : maintain a sparkling clean and sanitized work station and strictly adhere to California food safety and health regulations.

Teamwork : Assist with daily prep work and collaborate with the front of the house team, to guarantee a smooth service.

Requirements :

1-2 Years of line cook or relevant kitchen experience.
Flexible to work weekends.
Valid California Food Handler Certificate.
Knife skills and basic knowledge of various cooking methods.
Ability to multitask, communicate under pressure, and work well within a close team.

Compensation & Benefits :

Pay Rate : $ 20 to $ 23 per hour (based on experience ) plus tips total average $26-$28 per hour plus 2 meals 

Schedule : Daytime hours only. Available shifts within 07:30 AM to 3.30pm
