Our organization is looking for a Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist to become a part of the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Position Overview

The Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive care to patients in pediatric inpatient units.
• Delivering services in well-newborn nurseries and same-day medical units.
• Mentoring and supervising medical students and residents.
• Sharing call, weekend, and holiday responsibilities with fellow clinical faculty in the division.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Staying updated with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Academic & Scholarly Responsibilities

Aligned with the mission of our medical school, candidates will:

• Engage in scholarly and outreach initiatives.
• Participate in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education programs.
• Contribute to the education of residents and students.
• Collaborate on relevant research projects.
• Undertake additional academic tasks as assigned by the Chair of Pediatrics and the Division Director of Hospital Medicine, who will act as a mentor.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey.

Compensation

The compensation structure is as follows:

• $120/hour for weekdays.
• $150/hour for weekends.

The final compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including educational background, skills, and professional experience.
