This position offers no-touch freight, consistent support from TransForce, and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment. Pay & Schedule Details Pay rate: $29 per hour Overtime available after 40 hours Hours per week: 40 Schedule includes at least one weekend day, such as Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday Start time between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Employment type: Temp to perm Job Details Route type: Local delivery Service area: Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania Freight: General commodities Equipment: Automatic tractor with a 53-foot dry van Handling: No-touch freight with double drop-and-hook operations Work volume: Typically 1 to 2 loads per day Key Responsibilities Operate an automatic tractor and 53-foot dry van safely and professionally Complete local delivery routes throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania Transport general commodities Perform double drop-and-hook operations Pull trailers from the door and place loaded trailers back into the same door Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations Minimum Requirements Valid CDL A 6 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Must be at least 21 years old Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral program Why Work With TransForce At TransForce, drivers come first.
