A contract opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services in Lawrence, KS. This position offers a dynamic work schedule with a mix of day and evening shifts, along with rotating weekends, ideal for professionals seeking diverse clinical experiences.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing inpatient clinical pharmacy services, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and overseeing medication distribution.
• Checking and verifying medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Active KS pharmacist license required at time of application.
• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location.
• Open to first-time traveling pharmacists ready for new challenges.

Schedule:

• Mixed shifts including days and evenings.
• Rotating weekend coverage.

This 13-week contract begins on September 21 and provides an opportunity to enhance clinical skills in a fast-paced inpatient setting with supportive colleagues.
