Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting elementary and middle school students as a skilled Occupational Therapist. Located in the vibrant area near Lake City, FL, this full-time opportunity begins on 8/5/2026 and continues through the end of the school year on 5/28/2027. As the dedicated OT for this role, you’ll provide crucial therapy services across both elementary and middle settings, helping students achieve their best possible outcomes. The specific number of students on your caseload will be determined prior to your start.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings preferred
• Knowledge of therapy techniques tailored to elementary and middle school populations
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans in a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized therapy programs
• Deliver direct OT services and collaborate closely with educators and other specialists
• Track and report student progress in accordance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for students requiring support
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for compliance and reporting purposes
