Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to help them regain function and mobility
- Develop and update personalized treatment and discharge plans of care
- Document services accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Techs, providing guidance per practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active Illinois Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain one before start
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
