Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)

⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
Start: 07/13/2026

Shift: Night - 4x12 Hour Shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Floating within scope of practice to like units as needed

Unit Details:
• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Unit
• Typical Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• Acute care hospital environment

Requirements:
• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required

• Preferred:
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Strong telemetry and acute care experience

Required Skills:
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• IV starts and IV management
• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Medication administration and safety practices
• EPIC documentation proficiency
• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Float to like units within scope of practice as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered care
