Community Driver

Position Driver – TerraBella Salem (Tuesdays & Thursdays) – transport residents to and from appointments. Responsibilities Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities while delivering quality service. Assist disabled passengers in and out of the vehicle. Secure wheelchairs with restraining devices to stabilize during trip. Operate radio, cell phone, or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report service disruptions. Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition. Clean and service vehicle, including fuel, lubricants, and accessories. Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewal processes. Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 21 years of age or older. Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record per Federal Department of Transportation regulations. Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in senior living. Knowledgeable of all safety precautions and compliant with safety measures. Competent in organization, time‑management, and handling multiple priorities.
