Public Tax ManagerA CPA-certified tax professional with at least five years of public accounting experience and a minimum of two years in a managerial role. This role includes reviewing complex partnership returns, identifying tax issues and planning opportunities, leading tax staff and seniors, and building strong client relationships. Ideal candidates thrive in a dynamic environment and deliver exceptional client service while overseeing all aspects of engagement execution.Key responsibilities include managing and reviewing complex partnership tax engagements, addressing tax compliance and planning needs for clients across multiple industries, serving as the main client point of contact, identifying tax and business issues and recommending strategic planning opportunities, leading, mentoring, and developing tax staff and seniors in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrating strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting (master's preferred), an active CPA license, minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with at least 2 years in management, strong knowledge of pass-through entity structures and general corporate taxation, understanding of partnership taxation, partnership equity investments, S-Corporation tax returns, and individual taxation, and strong understanding of client businesses and industries.
