Bell Northbrook Northbrook, IL 60062, USA Description About the Role Bell Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Pricing Associate to join our Finance & Accounting team in Northbrook, IL. The Pricing Associate will support the administration, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of customer and product pricing to help ensure pricing accuracy, consistency, and competitiveness across the organization. This role works closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to maintain pricing data, implement customer price changes, prepare reports and analyses, and resolve pricing-related issues within Bell’s ERP environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable identifying discrepancies, solving problems, and managing multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities Maintain customer pricing records, pricing agreements, and related information within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP system. Support the administration, validation, and implementation of customer price changes and pricing updates. Prepare recurring pricing, margin, and sales reports for management and business stakeholders. Analyze pricing and customer data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Validate customer, product, and sales data to ensure pricing accuracy and data integrity. Respond to customer-specific pricing requests and support pricing-related projects and initiatives. Support semi-annual pricing reviews through data collection, analysis, reporting, and documentation. Monitor pricing documentation, customer records, and required approval workflows. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to investigate and resolve pricing questions and discrepancies. Generate and distribute recurring pricing and margin reports. Assist with analyzing commodity and raw material cost changes and evaluating their potential impact on product pricing. Support data cleansing, validation, and maintenance activities to improve the quality and reliability of pricing information. Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy. Maintain the confidentiality of pricing, customer, financial, and proprietary business information. Perform other duties and support special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred. Internship or previous experience in finance, accounting, sales operations, customer service, pricing, or business analytics preferred. Experience working with ERP systems, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms is a plus. Experience in manufacturing, food ingredients, flavors, fragrances, consumer products, or a related industry is preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates with strong analytical skills and relevant academic or internship experience are encouraged to apply. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy. Ability to analyze and interpret data and identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential issues. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
