Position Summary SouthLake Christian Academy is seeking an Interim College and Career Counselor to support our students through the college admissions process and postsecondary planning. This position is available for a term of 6 months to 1 year and may be structured as either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate and school needs. The Interim College and Career Counselor will work closely with students, families, faculty, and school leadership to provide guidance on college applications, career exploration, admissions timelines, and next-step planning. The ideal candidate will bring experience in college admissions and a commitment to supporting students in a faith-based educational environment. Qualifications Faith Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ with a personal, saving faith in Him as Lord and Savior. Must affirm and be willing to sign the school's Statement of Faith. Must be an active, participating member of a local evangelical Christian church. Must demonstrate a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles in all areas of personal and professional conduct. Must have a genuine commitment to Christian education. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree required in a related field. Demonstrated experience in college and career counseling in an educational or ministry setting. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Valid state driver's license required.
