Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Accountant III - Group Accounting positions in Carlsbad, CA. Responsibilities: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, fluctuation analyses, and financial reporting schedules. Assist with Group Accounting reporting by validating financial data, researching reporting issues between ERP and consolidation systems, and preparing financial analyses. Maintain global intercompany transfer pricing data, perform transfer price audits, and support the resolution of intercompany accounting issues. Analyze general ledger activity and large data sets using Excel, Power Query, and ERP systems to support reporting, reconciliations, and business needs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a large public international corporation or at least 3 years in a public accounting firm. Strong Excel skills required; experience with SAP, JD Edwards (E1), and/or Cognos preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
