Job Description

A profitable, founder-owned occupational health services company is hiring a Sales Leader to lead and develop its business development team. Founded in 1997, the company supports large and Fortune 500 enterprises across industrial, energy, construction, manufacturing and other sectors in all 50 states.

  • Leadership: Sales Management layer for a team of four tenured Regional and National Business Development Managers, most with around 10 years of experience. You’ll set the standard for coaching, pipeline discipline and accountability.
    • \n
  • Stability: The company has doubled revenue over the past six years and plans to double again. It is debt-free, profitable, owned by its founding partners, and a two-time Best Places to Work recipient.
    • \n
  • Impact: You’ll partner with the VP of Strategic Growth on target accounts, industries and markets, and help shape how the sales organization scales. The role is based in Baton Rouge, with in-office time early on and flexibility for a hybrid schedule over time.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary of $130K-$160K, plus a bonus tied to team and project performance.
    • \n

  • PTO, sick time and paid holidays.

  • $500 monthly car allowance and $100 monthly cell phone allowance.

The Right Background:

\n

\n
    \n
  • Direct experience leading, managing and coaching sales or business development professionals. This is required.
    • \n
  • Experience leading sales of services into industrial, construction, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, safety or related industries.
    • \n
  • A coach who can raise the performance of experienced sellers through regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews and forecasting.
    • \n
  • Comfortable working across sales, bids and proposals, operations, finance and executive leadership.
    • \n
  • Experienced with sales reporting, KPIs and CRM discipline. (They use Pipedrive.)
    • \n
  • Comfortable with about 20% travel for client meetings, site visits, conferences and trade shows.
    • \n
