Home Instead CaregiverAs a Home Instead caregiver you will provide compassionate and professional care to older adults who wish to remain independent in the comfort of their own homes in the Guttenberg/New Vienna area.Your primary responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a safe and clean environment, supporting clients' physical and emotional well-being, and ensuring they feel valued and respected. A caregiver who is active and enjoys gym activity and walking will be a great match!Benefits of Joining Home Instead:Competitive pay: $16-$18 per hour Part-time schedulesPaid orientation and training24/7 Support with Office TeamSchedules Include Shifts Of:8 am to 2 pm Tuesday and Thursday8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday8 am to 8 pm Monday - FridayMust have valid driver's license and auto insurance plus reliable transportationContinuity in homes is critical so must be willing to commit to weekly scheduleWhat You Will Do:Ability to follow, encourage and provide guidance for established exercise or therapy plansPrepare balanced meals and snacks based on individual dietary needsSafely guide and assist clients with transfer, mobility and movement through the homeSupport with personal cares including showering/bathing, toileting, incontinence, grooming, dressing and hygieneUse dementia- care experience to navigate cognitive changes and redirect with patience and respectComfortable assisting with grocery shopping, errands, and willing to provide transportation when requiredMaintain a clean, comfortable living environment through light housekeeping, household organization, laundry, and routine household taskFocus on doing household tasks and activities WITH the clients, encouraging independence rather than taking it awayWhy Join Home InsteadAt Home Instead, we believe care is personal.
