Tax Senior Accountant - ASC740

A mid-sized accounting firm committed to providing exceptional client accounting services is currently recruiting a talented individual to join their team as a Tax Senior Accountant (ASC740).

Reports to: ASC740 Tax Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in engagements such as 12-month cycle of corporate clients, including review of income tax returns, extension, and estimated tax calculations.
• Assist with providing consulting and tax-saving strategies to clients.
• Prepare and review book entries for quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Assist in process improvement and identify opportunities for increased automation.
• Develop and maintain client relationships by providing high quality service that exceeds clients expectations.
• Recognize and inform senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients.
• Manage a team of 3.

Key experience and skills:

• CPA designation or pursuing a CPA (eligible to sit with 150 credit hours)
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting focusing on Tax - ASC740 at a mid-market firm
• Client experience in: Manufacturing, real estate, professional services, restaurant, and retail.
• Bachelors degree in accounting.
