Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Yerington, NV

Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, working with both elementary and secondary grades. With a manageable caseload of 55-60 students, you will have the ability to form strong, supportive relationships and track meaningful progress throughout the academic year.


Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active or eligible SLP licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) welcomed
• Open to SLPs with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but open to healthcare or teletherapy backgrounds
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to students ranging from elementary to secondary grade levels
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with educational teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough records in compliance with school requirements
• Work within varying school hours (elementary: 8:30-3:15; secondary: 7:30-2:15)
• Exhibit flexibility and empathy in a dynamic school environment
