Grand Galvez Resort & Spa is seeking a licensed, professional, and guest-focused Massage Therapist to provide exceptional spa experiences in a luxury resort setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness, delivers outstanding customer service, and is committed to creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for every guest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage therapy services, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal (if certified), Hot Stone, and other specialty treatments.
- Consult with guests to determine their individual needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and uphold guest confidentiality.
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after each service, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Promote spa services, retail products, and wellness programs.
- Ensure all equipment, linens, and supplies are properly maintained.
- Adhere to all state licensing requirements, resort policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to create memorable guest experiences.
- Work collaboratively with the spa team and other resort departments.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Massage Therapist License in good standing.
- Previous experience in a resort, hotel, or luxury spa preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding massage treatments.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of multiple massage modalities.
- Experience with spa booking software.
- Retail sales experience.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
