Responsibilities of a CNA : Recording vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rate, as requested by staff Reminding patients to take medications and other nutritional supplements as needed Qualifications for a CNA : Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required. Clear and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the state of practice required.
