USfalcon has an exciting opportunity for a Military Operations Planner, Senior to support USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE.JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Military Operations Planner develops, analyzes, and refines operational and strategic-level plans supporting USSTRATCOM core missions. This includes conducting graduate-level analysis, synthesizing Joint doctrine, aligning plans with national-level strategies, and producing senior-level briefings and written products. The planner integrates National Military Strategy, Joint Staff guidance, CCMD campaign plans, and USSTRATCOM operations into coherent planning frameworks that support exercises, operations, and realworld contingencies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Apply expert knowledge of Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP), deterrence theory, strategic environment analysis, and planning-in-crisis methodologiesDevelop, refine, and maintain campaign and operations assessments; enter logical, defendable assessments into applicable databasesProduce graduate-level quality briefs and written reports with in-depth analysis supported by research and operational dataConduct mission analysis for CCMD-level operations, activity, and investment (OAI) planning teamsCollaborate with OSW, Joint Staff, CCMDs, Interagency partners, and international organizations on operational planning and assessment integrationDevelop strategytotask frameworks linking national-level guidance to operational and tactical actionsParticipate in wargames, exercises, operational planning teams, and crisis action planning reviewsSupport briefing preparation and presentation of assessment findings to senior leadersMaintain a working knowledge of National Defense Strategy, Unified Command Plan, Nuclear Posture Review, Joint Strategic Campaign Plans, and related strategic documentsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 12 years of practical Department of War military operations experienceAt least 3 years working at the Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, CCMD, Service, or MAJCOMMinimum 2 years of experience as an operations plannerOperations center experience required (e.g., GOC, command center, battle staff)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain accountability for classified materialPREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience supporting strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, global strike, or major combat operations planningExperience producing senior-level operational estimates, orders, and strategic documentsDemonstrated ability to integrate diplomatic, informational, military, and economic factors into planningJPME II Graduate (highly desired)EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferredREQUIRED CLEARANCE: TS/SCI TRAVEL: TBDBenefits Offered: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, parental leave, pet insurance, paid time off, and holidays.About US: USfalcon has grown from our roots in 1984 to become a mid-tier professional services company supporting a diverse and global customer base of DoD and Federal Agencies.
