Relationship Manager - Employee Benefits

Relationship Manager – Employee Benefits ADP is hiring a Relationship Manager – Employee Benefits. In this role you will serve as the single point of contact for a book of business of Group Health Insurance clients. You will own, manage, and service the entire relationship with your clients by acting as a subject‑matter expert on Employee Benefits, providing proactive, consultative education and support, and ultimately driving exceptional client satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Responsibilities Relationship Management: Serve as the client’s primary contact, acting as a liaison and internal client advocate. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s group health portfolio and coordinate communication among various ADP business partners. Act as a liaison between clients and ADP, collaborating with Product Management, Implementation, Payroll, Sales and more. Build trust, rapport and understand the insurance needs of the dedicated book of business. Provide proactive, personalized, strategic support and act as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers to ensure a seamless experience. Group Benefit Support & Administration: Provide insurance expertise by managing benefit renewals, supporting Open Enrollment, and preparing quote proposals and benefit guides. Assist clients in designing and implementing employee benefits programs, including group health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and other ancillary coverages. Handle all aspects of benefits renewals, negotiate with carriers for best rates and terms, conduct virtual meetings to review plans and recommend improvements, provide resolution support for enrollment, billing, coverage, and claims issues, and maintain accurate records of all client interactions, plans and compliance documentation. Client Retention: Maximize client retention by working with clients, carriers and external ADP partners to resolve issues that may impact the relationship. Proactively ensure client satisfaction through regular touch‑points, solicit feedback on existing offerings and future needs, and take appropriate actions such as quoting, upselling or remarketing. Ensure appropriate utilization and consistent execution of tools, communications, processes, retention activities and metrics. Qualifications At least 2-3 years of related insurance experience. Life & Health Insurance Producer License. College degree preferred but not required. Preferred Qualifications Previous insurance industry experience with a brokerage or agency environment. Experience with benefits administration platforms such as Ease, Employee Navigator, Flock. Experience with insurance quoting platforms such as Zywave. Relationship/Account management experience. Demonstrated proficiency in managing client relationships with multiple products. Extensive experience building relationships and understanding a client’s needs. Prior experience managing service recovery. Expert knowledge of ADP’s infrastructure and products in business processing and outsourcing.
